Although obviously ferocious, Pit Bulls, Dobermans and German Shepherds don't present the only dog bite hazard. In fact, most dog bites are from smaller dogs defending their own back yards, and represent a leading cause of injuries for workers who must access private yards to perform their jobs. The best protection against dog bites is learning more about dog behavior and what emergency action to take if attacked.
