Climbing utility poles safely is a skill all line persons must master to reach the work level without falling, contacting a live electrical source or other accidents that can cause severe injury. This program demonstrates the techniques for inspecting and using climbing equipment; determining if a pole is structurally sound for climbing; and, maintaining a positive safety attitude when climbing.
